Fat, Oils and Grease Program for FSE's and Commercial Kitchens

Since a leading cause of sewer spills is clogged sewer lines due to fats, oils and grease, OCSD established a program to eliminate the discharge of FOG-containing wastewater from food service establishments (FSE) and commercial kitchens. Restaurants are now required to store fats, oils, and grease in containers that are picked up by permitted recycling and rendering facilities.

OCSD's program covers Tustin, parts of Orange and unincorporated areas of the County.
