How much of your trash is really trash?  You probably know that most trash ends up in a landfill and that space is running out! Nearly 20% of waste in landfills can be composted and reused as a resource.

 

The City of Irvine recently kicked off a Zero Waste Environmental Program. Similarly, 100% of OCSD’s biosolids are recycled and utilized as valuable resources that provide tremendous benefits to the environment.
