In July 2003, OCSD became the first agency in the nation to be certified by the National Biosolids Partnership (NBP) for our Biosolids Environmental Management System.

The NBP’s nationwide certification program is based on ISO 14001 and customized for biosolids management with goal of continuously improving outcomes related to relationships with interested parties, environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and quality management practices.
