The Festival offers a unique opportunity to educate students about local water issues and the environment and helps them understand how they can protect water supplies and their environment. Since its inception, more than 122,000 Orange County students have experienced the Festival and all it has to offer.

During the two days, students had the chance to hear and learn about the Orange County Sanitation District and the importance of What 2 Flush and how they can be good stewards in keeping things from going down the drain and into our sewer system. Students participated in a relay race where they had to determine what items needed to be thrown in the trash, toilet or recycling bin. Overall the Children's Water Education Festival was a success and the students had a great time learning What 2 Flush.
