The Legislative and Public Affairs Committee was established as a Special Committee in August of 2013 and became a Standing Committee in January of 2015. The Committee advises staff and makes recommendation on matters related to the legislative and public affairs programs of the District. The committee is comprised of 7 Committee members including the Chairperson of the Board, the Vice Chairperson of the Board, a Committee Chairperson and Committee Vice-Chairperson and three at-large members selected and appointed by the Chairperson of the Board and meets on the second Monday of each month at 12:00 NOON or at the call of the Board Chair.  For audio of any of the past meetings or other information, please contact Kelly Lore, Clerk of the Board, at (714) 593-7433.
