This project constructs facilities to reduce biosolids handling and disposal costs, replaces aging sludge dewatering facilities with centrifuges, and provides associated odor control facilities to the existing truck loading bays. Old facilities will be demolished.
This project will replace the dewatering facilities that have reached the end of their service life. Based on the Long Range Biosolids Master Plan, a newer dewatering technology will be utilized to reduce the amount of water in the biosolids hauled offsite to reduce biosolids management disposal costs.
Construction began in winter 2015 and is scheduled for completion in summer 2020.
Current Approved Budget: $90,476,000
