This project will make improvements to two parallel sewer lines along a two-mile stretch of Seal Beach Blvd/Los Alamitos Blvd. from just north of the I-405 freeway to Katella Avenue in the cities of Seal Beach and Los Alamitos. Also being repaired is the sewer on Katella Avenue from Oak Street to Lexington Drive. About 65 manholes will also be replaced or rehabilitated. The sewer lines suffer from corrosion and must be fixed to extend their service life. Once fully repaired, the lines will remain operational for another 50 years.
We need your help! As we work on the design of this important project, we need your feedback to help us establish work hours and days for the construction to take place. Please take a few minutes to take a community survey and tell us what you think.
